Traveling

Ok so since Damien has been driving truck I had never been able to travel with him. But that changed the first of February. I was able to go out with Damien on the truck. We drove from Salt Lake City to Boise, down through Nevada through Vegas, to Ontario, California then back to Phoenix and back to Salt Lake City. We were gone from Sunday night to Sunday night. 7 days!!!It was crazy. I missed the kids like crazy but it was sooooooo good for Damien and me to be able to spend time together alone. We missed our anniversary this year the big 7 year. It was a great time to catch up.
The sunsets were awesome seeing them from all over. We were moving so the pic didn't turn out great but it works, you get the gist.

We drove at night one night and saw a ton of huge elk all over the side of the road it was crazy. It was like 75 degrees in California. It was sooooooo nice. We went and walked the Ontario mall!! Oh my gosh!!! I've been misled my whole life. I thought the Layton Hills mall was big but I was wrong. The Ontario mall was HUGE!!! We walked around the whole thing and only stopped like 6 or 7 times and it took us two hours to walk around it. It is like 3 miles. It's crazy. Good times though.

On our way home we crossed over this huge bridge in Southern Utah. I've never been to Lake Powell so that was something different. Lots of cool country we have here in Utah. Someday we will go travel southern Utah with the kids. What awesome country!!

In January we went to Grandpa Larsens grave to sing Happy Birthday!!! It's almost been a year since he died. It was a very hard day for all involved. Grandpa would be mad if he knew we were all standing in the cold. He would of cussed us out. It was a beautiful sunny day just like grandpa loved em!!! We miss you, Grandpa!! Happy Birthday!!!

About Me

My photo
Family is truly the first and last thing we have in life. We spend so much time worrying about all the little things when it all boils down to not being important. Time moves to quickly to have regrets, so live in the moment everyday.
