Spring Pics

So every year we try to take new pics of the kids during spring and autumn. This year was such a huge challenge. They just fight to take good pictures. We changed them into their nice clothes just before packing them in the truck and driving to the place we were gonna take them. In the 5 minute drive, Brooke managed to get lip gloss all over her pants. We got out of the truck and DJ went and climbed on the wheel of the truck and got black stuff all over his shorts. You will get to see this loveliness in the pics. Oh boy!!!!

Easter 2009

So Easter this year was very intersting seeming as it was the first Easter without Damien here. My cousins Roby and Rachel Smith had their baby blessed on Easter, so we started fairly early. I told the kids that the Easter bunny had gone to grandma Chris's house. They were pretty upset that they had to go to church first and then go to grandma's house. Right after church we had the Easter egg hunt outside at mom's. We hid about 85 eggs. It was so fun. Then Amberli and Skooter found the eggs inside. Brooke and DJ got each a basket with goodies in it and a play kitchen for them to share. It was a great time.

Kindergarten soccer

Ok so how funny are those kindergarteners playing soccer? Holy cow!! Brooke is playing on a Bridger elementary team. It has been so funny to watch. The first game she ran around playing with her hair. The idea of not touching the ball with your hands didn't go over very well for the other player on her team. They lost and have lost every game but what an entertaining time.

OH yeah and I am the assistant coach. It is a voice losing feat. They are so funny though. It has been a great experience for Brooke.
