Well Damien was able to be home for Christmas which was a huge relief to me. It was a crazy time getting him here though. He called me on December 22 and said he was stuck in Colorado cause of weather and wasn't sure when he was gonna be able to come further. I about went crazy. Surprise!! Surprise!! He arrived on December 23 in the late evening. He knew he had his work cut out for him though. He lives with me so he knew it would be hectic. Christmas Eve morning began at about 8. I knew I had a lot to do so up I got. It was quiet for a while though which was good. I started the potatoes and the ham. It was go go go all day. Christmas we spent with our families. It was nice having my mom, my siblings and family, Damiens mom and sister with her daughter and even my Grandma here. The food was great and the kids had a riot at the annual Parkin Family treasure hunt.
Our family - Damien a truck driver, for 5 years now who is never home but wishes he was and hates his job. Brandi a student, stay at home mom, wife, volunteer, worker, trainer, and crazy person. Brookelyn a ten year old that is going on 20 who is only 2 inches shorter than her mom. And DJ who is now 9 and is a gamer all day and night.

About Me
- brandib
- Family is truly the first and last thing we have in life. We spend so much time worrying about all the little things when it all boils down to not being important. Time moves to quickly to have regrets, so live in the moment everyday.
